TOTEM Shines Bright with Réalta at the 2025 Transform Awards Europe

Waterford and Cork based branding agency, TOTEM, has been once more recognised at the prestigious Transform Awards Europe 2025, winning a bronze award for Best Brand Architecture for its visionary work with Réalta – Ireland’s new national organisation for Arts and Health.

TOTEM’s challenge was as complex as it was meaningful: help a long-standing local organisation, the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, evolve into a national leader without losing its roots. The brief was to unite three very different areas of work under one coherent brand strategy. The outcome was Réalta (Irish for ‘star’) – a name and brand architecture that connects three distinct strands through a shared purpose: to illuminate health paths through the transformative power of the arts.

“This project speaks to the heart of what we do,” said Colin Byrne, Creative Director and Founder of TOTEM. “Brand architecture isn’t just about organising logos - it’s about organising meaning. We’re proud to have delivered a solution that reflects both complexity and clarity.”

With a 300% increase in engagement and strong endorsement from the Arts Council of Ireland and WHO, Réalta is now firmly established as the leading voice for Arts and Health in Ireland.
