About Us

St Luke's Charity is a leading provider of residential care, support services and specialist Dementia care at St Luke's Home to older people in the Cork region.

For over 150 years, St Luke's Home has been caring for generations of older people of Cork, including those living with Dementia in its many various forms.

Today, St Luke’s Home cares for 128 residents and 100 Daycare clients each week, ensuring that they receive the very best clinical, physical, social and spiritual care and enjoy the very best quality of life regardless of their challenges or health difficulties.

St Luke's is now synonymous with advanced Dementia care, opened Cork’s first dedicated Dementia care unit in 1994 and is a leader in the provision, education and training of best-practice Dementia care across Munster.

As a voluntary, not-for-profit residential care home, St Luke's Home relies hugely on fundraising activities, legacies and donations through St Luke's Charity to maintain the highest standard of care available to all our residents and Daycare clients, while continuing to advance our Dementia education, training services and facilities into the future.
