Sleep Out for Cork Simon

When was the last time you saw someone sleeping rough in Cork? It might have been on your way to work this morning.  546 men and women in our city were depending on emergency accommodation last June. The highest ever. That doesn’t include those who have no choice but to sleep rough because emergency shelters are full every night.
 
 As more people continue to be pushed into homelessness, we are asking companies to participate in a Sleep Out for Cork Simon to help save lives and change lives. All of the funds raised will go towards providing emergency homeless services to men and women in our community who will be struggling during the cold winter months ahead. 
We’re asking Cork Businesses, to nominate colleagues to be a Champion for the Sleep Out for one night and experience first-hand the realities of rough sleeping.
