GDPR & Data Protection in Uncertain Times

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union Regulation that has been designed to strengthen and unify Data Protection within the EU. The GDPR came into effect on 25 May 2018.

The GDPR blends Data Protection practices across the EU and emphasises transparency, security and accountability by data controllers and processors, while at the same time standardising and strengthening the right of individuals to privacy of their personal data.
